If you are new to the World Cafe, would you please share how you heard about this community?
I participated in a series of World Cafe conversations several years ago as part of visioning how drug and alohol services would look under the umbrella of mental health.
My awareness of this online community surfaced after attending an art of hosting weekend.
What field is the primary focus of your World Café work (ONLY CHECK AREAS WHERE YOU ARE ALREADY ACTIVELY USING WORLD CAFE PLEASE)?
Education, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
I would like to continue to create space for conversation and dialogue around the public education system. I am passionate about working with children and youth in ways that invite them to create space for conversations that matter to them. I will bring my passion for storytelling, creating space for play and fun and thoughtful analysis to this community.
What would you most like to receive from this community?
Ideas, thoughts, feeling connected to a network while I continue to engage at a community level.

Hi Shannon. I am responding to the email you sent on the upcoming planning meeting. Have you looked at Team Charters? You can see an example that the American Heart Association uses http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3022610 This is a great tool to use/adapt to set ground rules, identify responsibilities, etc, when a wide variety of groups are coming together to work on a common goal. It seems like this is something the group would do together at the end of the day - setting aside an hour or so. The questions asked at the meeting lead to coming up with answers that can be gathered up in the team charter. Everyone leaves knowing their role in the collaboration.
