warm winter

Global warming has sent the mildest winter I remember into Nova Scotia.here on the lakes we got to go skating just this week and in two more it will be over.Unlike most I sigh to see the winter go.Issy our Boarder Collie is in agreement he carries chunks of ice up to the shore for chewing......whats a dog to do!!!

We do not have the bird action from other winters this year thay may not have had to come as far south for food this year.No redpoles.Lots of doves pigeons starlings and gold finches.

The Canada Gees will be home soon gosh its hard to beleive another winter has come and is now sliding slowly out of sight.
