Would be eager to engage with this group. I am rather new to WC and hoping to expand my knowledge by engaging in conversations. Is this group active?
Brilliant- will copy all around.
Hi Ole - congratulations - great talk! Love the way how you invite people to draw together!
Hello Fernanda:
There have been some good conversations about this in earlier entries made by this community and on the International Forum of Visual Practitioners (ifvp.org) A few suggestions I would make is to make sure you coordinate with the facilitator so that they can help repeat what people say and help to synthesize their reflections.
Also have a few sticky notes handy so if it goes really fast, you can jot down what people say, and slap it up on the wall.
If you can get some contextual background from the group - by going around and looking at the flip chart paper that they are taking notes on and listening in on their conversations to hear what themes are emerging and what metaphors or images you might use.
Based on the design - you might want to sketch out your format in pencil ahead of time to help guide the rapid capture that can happen with that many people.
What do other people have to add?! Thanks for the query and I look forward to hearing and learning from each other...
I wonder if anyone can lead me to resources, links for harvesting for worldcafé 230 people.
Hy! I just participate as a GR, on the International Congress in Cosmetics & Perfumery: http://centifolia-grasse.net/eng/

Comment by Nancy White on April 27, 2011 at 6:51am If you are in Europe, don't miss Chris and Sabine's workshop. (I have seen Chris in action). If you are interested in something (slightly different) in Canada, Michelle Laurie have one as well. See http://www.fullcirc.com/2011/01/06/graphic-facilitation-workshop-ju... I love that these practices are growing and spreading!
