Thank you for your post! The Master's has really changed my view of what leadership means. I once thought that being a leader meant that you were a person who had great ideas and vision and you were able to rally people around those ideas and they followed you. I now understand that leadership is about listening to people, finding out what ideas they have and taking those ideas and creating a common vision that they can see themselves in and strive towards... Hadn't thought about the difference between that leadership and strategic leadership... i see them as the same... As for sustainability - the programme founders have said it quite nicely: "The question of reaching sustainability is not about if we will have enough energy, enough food, or other tangible resources - those we have. The question is: will there be enough leaders in time?

Thank you for the glowing remarks! I really hope to deserve them! I am glad that you are at the OISE, which I remember having visited in 1996 (yes, long time ago!) and meeting the great Micheal Fullan and Patrick Diamond. Wonderful to learn from them, I am sure!

- Thanks Amy. I would love to get more interactive with the online community as soon as I am
done with my Research paper. I appreciate the whole idea of Online World Cafe, as it can help people involve themselves in open dialogue beyond prejudices and assumptions-- and sharing creative thoughts which can create a dynamic collective self- reflective of our intelligence, creativiy and solidarity.
