Thank! Outcome from the faith based was new and deeper relationships within the faith community itself which led to the community conversation that took place this week. Outcome from that is definite connections/relationships developed and we are moving to host a follow up conversation in September to continue to deepen relationships and move on community resources/referrals and action planning.

Questions from faith based were: #1 How are faith based organizations helping cultivate strong families that thrive and where are we already partnering with community? #2 Where is the crossroads where you find yourself at at this stage of your work with families? Open Space Question: What declaration of possibilities has the power to transform community and inspire you?

Questions were pretty tough for the group but they managed to have great conversations and a smaller group from faith based met with me in June to follow up and move them forward on unique activities which they are now moving on within their group- community discipleship of young males to impact and develop stronger men and mentors for families--responsible fathers.

This most recent conversation-- question #1 What do you dream/vision is possible for this group when we come together to cultivate strong families that thrive? #2 What are the opportunities we are facing when coming together to do our best work around families? #3 How do we fully enter into working with each other in new and unfamiliar ways? Open space question: What do we need to do to sustain our work together and what are our next steps?

Hope this is helpful for you. Good luck with yours! Let me know how things go. Take care Kim :)

I lead a public dialogue group for six years here in our small town in AR and have used the Cafe process in several workshops. It is my intention to use it again to tap our "community mind" some time in the future. I look forward to learning how others are using it here in the online community.
