Hi Franis, I'm thrilled, to put it mildly, to hear about the Bohmian-style dialogue!!! I must look this up immediately, because I'm a great fan of David Bohm's work (Order, Science, and Creativity et al). LOVE the concept of implicate order... I ha…

This mindmap elevates to the level of art - a painting! I really enjoy your style of integrating diverse images together.

Fun! Wish there was a way to see it larger. I've never seen a mind-map with blobs of color like this. I like it! It looks like a "map"! Maybe you'd like to check out my mind-map on the contents of a class I taught in Alexander Technique? It's one of…

This sounds like an interesting group, especially since in some ways I feel dialogue and leadership are antithetical...!

I went to a university called St. John's College, based on reading the great books. What was truly amazing about the pedagogy was the seminar. Some twenty students and 2 professors would read and discuss various classic texts. The seminar always sta…

I've been researching the job of visual recorder which will be my next career move. I'm an artist who's been working as a translator, but now I'm looking forward to getting involved with the collective intelligence movement.

Thank you, Roberta. :) I took the Grove's course in visual facilitation. It made all the difference in my work. You know, of course, that David Sibbet is keynoting at the conference in August. Exciting stuff!

Bonjour Roberta,

A very belated (5 months!) reply to you ... I had let World Café sort of lapse, and now hope to be more active here.
all the best,

Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for your advice, I'll try to download the kml file. Probably it's there, I just couldn't get to it ( could only see 3 placemarks for Paris).
Great work! very impressive...
All the best
Roberta

Hey Roberta, thank you :)
so sorry for that... i will check that soon (when i am on a faster computer, because it takes quite some capacity to deal with 1650 placemarks) - i was automatically loading all the placemarks in... maybe the system did not recognize your location? or there is someone else in Paris and your placemark is "hidden" behind this person? if you are up for it you can download the .kml file under the map and open it with Google Earth, it should show more than one placemark per city... and it's an amazing perspective :)

warm greetings,
Benjamin

Hello Roberta,

I'm actually german a student of philosophy and economics staying in Paris studying philosophy at the Sorbonne for (almost) one year. I'm staying in a Foyer in the 17th Arrondissement (Rue Pierre Demours). I first got to know World Cafe through Ullrich and Sabine Soeder who held one in my hometown Dresden. I "discovered" the World Cafe when I was organising a conference together with some fellow students at my home-university in Bayreuth, Germany. In February this year I took part in a workshop held by Chris Chopyak and Sabine Soeder.
I would love to meet you and learn about your World Cafe experience.

A bientôt,
Anna
