Hi everyone,

you are all invited to join us for the Art of Hosting Collaborative Innovation http://www.theworldcafecommunity.org/events/the-art-of-hosting-coll...

It's happening 6-8 December in Petaluma on the beautiful land of IONS EarthRise retreat center. We'd be thrilled if you can join us and grateful if you could share this.

And on a very personal note I'd love this to be an occasion to connect with you wonderful cafe hosts in the Bay Area.

Greetings, Simone

(An Art of Hosting steward, recently moved to the Bay)

At Bioneers

Sunday Oct 20th, 2:45-4:15

Title: Wiser Together World Cafe: Creating Tomorrow Together!

Description: We’ve seen what is possible from the Bioneers, we’ve learned from each other’s ideas and meaningful work, and now we’re ready to take it home.  Seeds have been planted throughout the weekend and we need each other to ensure our shared success. How can we play together year round? How might we be anchors for each other and our projects as we serve the future we believe in? Let’s nourish partnerships and relationships that we can draw upon in the coming months as we ground these possibilities into realities. And let’s meet up again next year to share what we’re learning! Join us for a participant-driven World Cafe conversation about how we can collaborate to shape the future by synergizing the unique gifts of all generations. The Cafe provides a hospitable space for integration and reflection on what is emerging at the conference, building partnerships of personal and professional value, and seeing the collective intelligence become visible before your eyes through graphic recording. Let's create tomorrow, together!! With David Shaw (Common Ground Center, UCSC), Dana Pearlman (The Lotus: Authentic Leadership Development and the Global Leadership Lab), Tim Merry (Myrgan Inc, Art of Hosting), and Giselle Chow (Graphic Facilitator and Recorder, Giselle Chow Consulting)

Saturday Oct 19th, 2:45-4:15 and 4:30-6:00

Title: Wiser Together Open Space: If you could have any conversation, or host any activity, what would it be? Bring it here.

Description: Join us in activating our diverse community of Bioneers through participant-driven conversations that matter. In OST, we will leverage our collective intelligence, share our dreams and visions and move towards wise action.  What does it mean to put your vision into action? What conversations, experiences or skills do you have or need in order to move your visions into action? How might we be wiser together, so that our actions are collective and more influential? In OST participants make the agenda! All are welcome to post and join topics that you are passionate about. We will co-create a learning environment that fosters shared visions, empowers participants and enables self-managed groups. It is a meeting of minds charged with excitement, flashes of inspiration and profound satisfaction. It is effective when many people desire to address complex issues, common interests and expanding communities. By joining in the experience, you connect with other Bioneers that share your passion and can forge alliances for future wise action. We will be hosting multiple sessions and you are welcome to host and attend any and all of them, come and go as you please and move towards what deeply resonates with you. With David Shaw (Common Ground Center, UCSC), Dana Pearlman (The Lotus: Authentic Leadership Development and the Global Leadership Lab), Tim Merry (Myrgan Inc, Art of Hosting), and Giselle Chow (Graphic Facilitator and Recorder, Giselle Chow Consulting)

Join us for a series of participant-driven World Cafe conversations about how we can collaborate to shape the future by synergizing the unique gifts of all generations. The Cafe provides a hospitable space for integration and reflection on what is emerging at the conference, building partnerships of personal and professional value, and seeing the collective intelligence become visible before your eyes through graphic recording. I'm sorry you won't be able to be there, Andrea! We'll miss you... you and Laura have been the "banner carriers" for so many of these bay area multi-generational events.

Comment by Andrea Dyer on September 17, 2013 at 12:13pm

Amy - This sounds wonderful...I will be there in spirit with you all and will pass on the opportunity to others.  In appreciation, Andrea
