Hi UK Cafe hosts
You are hereby cordially invited to a training in graphic recording and strategic harvesting in London May 8-9. It is run by Nick Payne and myself, so come along, learn and have fun with us.

See the event detail and full invitation here.

And if you have any questions just drop me a line.

Hola Carlos
Good to see you joining our group. Are you involved in World Cafe as a psychologist? Are there things you would like to learn from the group. This is more of a learning space than an advert for our different services so perhaps you could tell us a little more about your interest in the Cafe and what you would like to learn from participating in the forum.
Best wishes
Christine

Hi
Having joined Cafe UK perhaps I should introduce myself. I work in the public sector mainly in mental health. I am new to World Cafe and so far have hosted a cafe for around 150 with the purpose of engaging people with our Mental Health Joint Comissioning Strategy. I have also been asked to host a cafe for the learning disability sector which, like the mental health event, will include people who use services. If anyone has any experience of hosting a cafe that includes people with a learning disability I would love to hear from you! We have already booked a graphic facilitator so I'm sure that will help. I hosted a mini-planning cafe for this event and this went well. Although new to World Cafe I have been using Appreciative Inquiry for over 10 years and find it a fantastic approach for all kinds of situations.

I was there last summer for six weeks and yes, for a Englishman, it is a tad on the warm side

Hi Nick,

Sorry to miss you in the UK but please stay in touch about your summer trip to Phoenix. I'm sure you've been warned that both Vegas and Phoenix will be very hot when you arrive!

Hi Christine, I can't meet you in the UK but I will be in Las Vegas for July and early August and plan to take a weekend trip to Phoenix - so could meet up then maybe?

Hi Pam
There are lots of Graphic Recorders, some in the UK, and with plenty of experience working in the health care field, involved in the World Cafe Community - and the best place on this site to find out more is probably the Art of Harvesting group. I'd recommend checking it out. Good luck, Nick

Hi Christine,

Sadly, I'm too far away from Bangor to make an early breakfast with you and keep awake throughout!

Never mind, next time you're in UK, we will get together.

Hi Lisa,

I have train tickets from Bangor at 9:22am on March 2. How far is Bangor or Snowdonia from Chester? Perhaps an early breakfast?
