I'm so touched and amazed

Hello everyone,

In the couple of days since this site has been "live" I want to say that I'm completely amazed and humbled by the places around the world where people are joining in from....Afganistan, India, South Africa, the Netherlands, France, Pakistan, Vietnam, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Japan....the list could go on and on.

And this gives me so much hope seeing that there are so many of you around the world who are hosting conversations that matter in your own unique… Continue

I'm in pickle right now. Will be hosting a WC experience for The Philanthropy Summit - for 250-300 participants - in October. I've never hosted a WC and the details are becoming a bit elusive. Trying to get a graphic recorder in contract and Summit planning committee asking me how exactly how she'll record so much in real time. That aside, question for you that maybe you can help me determine: with that large a group, more effective to ask one question with three rounds of 15-20 min - then good 45 mins of harvesting - or 2 questions of 10 min rounds and maybe 20 min harvesting each question? Any help/advice appreciated. I'm on my way to Italy for vacation in 2 days so hoping to resolve some of these details before then. ¡Gracias!

Thanks for the response. Basically invitational rhetoric promotes "understanding" rather than "persuasion" as the ultimate objective of rhetoric (dialogue).

By using Invitational rhetoric as the basis of my social media site, I'm hoping to foster UNDERSTANDING rather than persuasion as the goal of dialogue involving heated social issues/topics.

Very excited about adding this to our Conference programs. First one looks to be in Cairo in July for our CSX Cybersecurity Nexus 1-day conference where we'll use video from the US conference as the impetus to discuss the problem - and the way forward. AND, we may be doing this again in November in Singapore. More soon - and I really look forward to being a part of this awesome community...and keeping in touch.
