David...Howdy and welcome to the East. I'm chewing on your question trying to get its full texture. One thing I know, having learned it from my many years in the IONS community, is that exploring questions of this sort almost invariable leads to jui…

Education, Community
What knowledge, skills or resources would you like to contribute to the World Café community to help it grow and flourish?
I have been hosting WC sessions for diverse groups here in NYC for a number of years ranging in size from 12 to 700. Recently I have been asked to train professionals (teachers, social workers, IONS members) in the art and practice of hosting WC. My vision is to have WC become the diologic process of choice for New Yorkers of all ages, replacing the in-your-face, combative form of verbal exchange that famously exists in most pulbic and private arenas today

Nice to hear from you. Are you in the NYC area? Do you facilitate WC sessiions or just enjoy psrticipate in them? I just lead a session last week at Fordham University for 160 people. They loved it and we planed to hold a follow-up session in January. The event was called "NYC: Carbon Neutral by 2020." To learn more, go to www.coalitionforonevoice.org.

Thanks, Juanita. I would be happy to join the New York Metro group but I don't know how. I have no trouble navigating in worlds that include TWC but I'm very clumsy with this virtual stuff.

Hi dear Jane!

Welcome...it's great to see you here. Did you see the New York area group? It's growing and needs YOU to help give the vision you gave here on your profile....it's very exciting!

Fond regards,
Juanita
